Hub, when I read your profile it brought back so many memories, my first bike was a X-6 Hustler. I also tuned it myself. Did you have problems with the head gasket blowin? Can't beleive how many times I had to tear that thing down!

Hub; I was in a buddies machine shop last month when a guy brought in a head from a 50s Harley. It was modified at the factory for a flat tracker. Changed into a hemi and smoothed with brass(?). He was rebuilding the bike for vintage racing but couldn't lap the valves because of the bizarre angle, so he brought it to my buddy. Pretty interesting.
